The "Great Breakfast Creek Keg Race" is on
Sunday March 15 2009 at the Breakfast Creek Hotel
12pm until 3pm
After the succes of last years event the race has been expanded to include additional teams. The Emergency Service Challenge which was won by the Queensland Fire & Rescue Team proved such an entertaining concept that it has been expanded to included the Australian Defence Force, Media Challenge and a Sponsors Challenge.
In each of these these races - Three teams of four will race to see who can blow up their raft the fastest, transport it down to the Breakfast Creek - Paddle up the Creek collect a keg and return it to the starting line in order to seal a victory.
The winners from each of the heats will then face off in the Final to see who becomes the Breakfast Creek Hotel Keg Racer 2009.
Each of the teams must raise a minimum of $200 to compete in the race and this money is being collected through each of the team pages on Everyday Hero. Please click on your team you wish to support below to donate.
There are some very special time bonus available for the team that raises the most money so give generously to help your team to victory. As the pages are created by the teams they will be updated on the site.
The greatest fundraiser will also receive an award for their hard work, this can be as part of a team or as an individual fundraiser.

On Monday 9 March 2009 the Breakfast Creek Hotel will be hosting a Charity Fundraising Dinner at the Hotel from 6.30pm for a 7pm start. The Dinner will consist of a Four Course Main Meal and Wine along with a Chairty Auction. MC for the evening will be Paul (Campo) Campion from 97.3 Fm. Tickets for the event will be $95 per head.
